Is the piano sound as good as P140 or P120? Is the key feel any good? Yamaha S90ES - this one I didn't consider because of the lack of built-in speakers (I don't necessarily want to buy an amp), but I've read so many people raving that it's the ultimate combination between digital piano and synth that I feel I should consider it. Yamaha P120 - outdated model but I hear so many good reviews (except for the keys breaking).is it really so good? Is it fundamentally better than the P140? I read that the piano P140 sounds and key feel are better, but the P120 has more sounds etc.ģ. The bad side is the Rhodes sound, and the lack of 1/4" out.Ģ. The good side is the piano sounds and the key feel. Yamaha P140 - this is my current favourite. I have basically narrowed my choices down to Yamaha, be that right or wrong.ġ. The synth side still draws me, but definitely the piano sound/feel is priority one. ![]() I used to have a Roland W30 and enjoyed the more technical side of playing, but I haven't done that for 10 years. I don't gig, and it's unlikely that I will in the near future. The driving factor is that I've moved out of a place that had an acoustic piano, and I feel I should keep tinkering but don't want to but an acoustic because (a) the size, (b) the expense and © I want to practice with headphones on. I am soon to buy a digital piano/keyboard. I still feel driven to ask this of your learned folks, if you don't mind, as everything below is from what I've read but not yet experienced. ![]() I have read through many, many websites, reviews and posts in forums.
